Free book downloads: Don't you just love a bargain?
"a man, tall and thin, and ghastly pale... I crept behind It, and gave It my knife; but the knife went through It, empty as the air."
- Bram Stoker, Chapter 7, Dracula
I love a good bargain, and when it’s totally free, I love it even more!
I’m not sure how long this will be available, but here goes…

What a deal! Thanks for letting us know.
Barry - You are welcome! :)
That's awfully nice of them I guess and besides, I suppose they can afford it. The books are probably all public domain anyway. Doesn't Google and some other sites also offer free downloads of books in the public domain?

Arlee Bird - Yes, they are all in public domain Lee, but I agree with you that it is a very nice gesture.
There are similar sites that offer downloads or direct viewing such as the Gutenberg Project.
Oh, gosh, if I only had a Kindle. Maybe I should put it on my Christmas list. ;-)
Jo - That's a great idea. The newest version of Kindle has gotten rave reviews. :)
