
Now that we’ve all survived April Fool’s Day and the Conflicker Worm, we can take a collective breath and concentrate on all that truly drives the Internet: words; pictures and music.
In the spirit of this month, we celebrate poetry in all of its manifestations.
National Poetry Month 2009 is a great time to rejoice in the glory of words that enrich us all. Take time to visit your local library or go on-line to search out poets who speak to you like a twin.
I leave you with a beautiful poem by Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad, a 13th century Persian poet who left an indelible mark on mankind with his elegant and gentle ruminations, which (IMHO) often reflected the wisest and most spiritual parts of humankind.
